2600tris
When I resumed work on 2600tris a few days ago, I completely forgot about Zach Matley's "Chetiry" demo. Seeing how the topic he started about it was last posted in in 2007, I assumed he forgot about it, too. Anyway, if Zach is reading this and wants me to quit working on my version since he started up again on his, just let me know. In the meantime, though, I still think 2600tris is kind of cool considering that I don't really have successful 2600 games (see GoSub), or really, any successful games of any other platforms either (all my Virtual Boy work sucks, too.) it''s a wonder why I just don't give up on coding entirely. Why, you ask, do I keep doing it? The answer is quite simple, really. I can sum it up in three words: I get bored. Yes, I know I should wean off of bB and try to learn ASM, but after trying that, I think I'm too stupid to learn it. Of course all this negativity might be traced to the fact that I really really despise April Fool's Day. I really hate teasing, tricks, etc. Must be because of the stupid Asperger's Syndrome the doctors kept saying I have. (although I doubt that's really what I have.) When I was a teenager, I spent about a week in a mental-hospital-type place. I hated it. And then there was that special high-school I had to go to (which sucked even more.) But whatever challenges fate had in store for me, I survived all of them. It is a matter of walking against the wind of stupid things. I think what a doctor called me when I was two or three sums it up nicely: an enigma.
