Short songs
Long time readers of this blog may remember my long songs collection. Well, I have a considerable short song collection, too (and some don't come from "Short Songs For Short People!") I want to have a short song collection of the shortest song from each relatively famous band I can find. So far I only have 3: "The Ballad of Wilhelm Fink" by Green Day, "Her Majesty" by the Beatles, and "Intermission" by the Carpenters. Well, that last one I had to convert from vinyl to MP3 format. It didn't turn out very good, apparently my parents or whoever had the record before played it a lot. Well, after doing some more research, I am in search of two CDs (or LPs, or whatever:) The Beach Boys' "Friends" (for the song "Meant For You") and the debut album from John Denver, "Rhymes and Reasons" (for the song "The Ballad of Spiro Agnew", or "The Ballad of Richard Nixon", whichever is shorter. I can't find info on the length of songs on this album for some reason.) It appears odd that two songs on this are ballads. Well, anyway, if you're a fan of a certain band that is relatively famous, and know the shortest song they ever did, please let me know what it is so I can search for it.
