No e! part 2

After another google, I turned up two other novels that have no E: "Gadsby" by Ernest Wright, and "Toxic Panda" by Adam Adams. "Toxic Panda" is a contest-novel in which if you are the first one to solve puzzles in the story, you get a cash prize, ranging from $50-$500. Only Part A has been won so far. In keeping with the e-lessness, the chapters skip from D to F, with a bonus puzzle at the end. I've made a website for my e-less story, of which page 2 was made last night. Took me about an hour, most of the time trying to fix my accidental E usage. I have lowered my goal of this from 200 pages down to 100 pages. I just finished page 2, and I've used over 1,300 words so far! Well, anyway, in page 2 of my epic e-less novel, written in the first(?) person (I never get the difference between first and third person straight. And what about second person?) the guy finds a lizard with a pink butt laying in the middle of the road, so he takes him to the vet ("animal doctor" in the story!) and then takes him back to his home (a "condominium"). Anyway, I am going to put a link to the story in my signature, so watch for that. I got another 2600 game in the mail yesterday (Spike's Peak/Ghost Manor), I count double enders as one cart, so one game, and that makes me up to 322 VCS carts. Three more and I'll have 325. I doubt I'll get to 400 though. It was tough after the 300 mark to find games people are selling that I don't already have yet.

There's just one problem:

...novels must reach a minimum of 50,000 words before 11:59:59 PM on November 30, local time

I don't think I could write 50,000 words in 30 days. I have trouble getting up to 600 in one day.

Even if you don't try to write a novel in a month, there's lots of hints & tips on the NaNoWriMo site on writing, especially if you don't know where the plot (or lack thereof) will take you.

First person - I did it.

Second person - You did it.

Third person - S/he did it.

Tough to write a story in second person. That's more for instruction manuals.
