So I'm half-way done on sequencing "A Nightmare To Remember." Apart from a few mistakes that are still there after checking to see if I was sequencing everything and it seemed OK, things are going well. I'm a little behind on the times it says in the book. What is supposed to be the lyrics change from time to time from electric guitar to piano (depending on the current mood of the song.) One thing I'm not even going to try to attempt is the drums. I left a track open in case someone wants to try. Apparently Channel 10 is used for percussion in MIDI-making, and since I have 10 different instruments, it goes from channel 9 to channel 11. In case you're wondering how I got half-way done with a 16-minute MIDI a day after I started, I've been working just about non-stop on it, taking occasional breaks to eat, watch tv and do other things. I did however, sleep a good 12 hours (just woke up a few hours ago.) I want to finish this thing, as I'm curious to see if it will break the 15-minute mark. If it doesn't, I'll force it.
