Comic books
What a tiring, miserable rainy day. Not exactly the kind of day to go out and look at homes, much less anything, but I got bored, so I did. There's this Tour of Homes thing where there's open houses all across town to go look at. I didn't really want to, but I saved Mom some gas so she picked me up since they were stopping by our place anyway since my sister and her kids needed to use my bathroom. Anyway, after that, I went to the place near the record store. The record store was closed, but the lights were on and some guy was sitting at the counter. The door was locked. So I walked over to the comic book shop. I actually found SpongeBob #1, which is surprising since it came out when, February, and this is almost July and they still had it? I also got #3 (I already had #2), so now I know of another place besides Borders that sells these. So the next time I'm really bored I now have something to read. I had no idea there were that many comic books still being published. The place was about the size of a typical fast-food joint filled almost entirely with comic books and superhero-related figurines. So now I'm happy and I don't have to go comic book shopping until August, which is when the next SpongeBob issue is coming out (it's every other month.) Now I'm so sleepy I could fall asleep, but it's only 3:40 in the afternoon and still light outside. Apparently our family is going to do something for father's day, have a barbecue or something. I'm going to spend two hours with my dad at his apartment while everyone else goes to church, then after that, we're going back to our sister's to eat, then me and mom are probably going to have to get stuck with the task of taking dad back to his apartment, and then me and mom are going home. And then I will post a Hexagon puzzle (you probably thought I forgot about those, didn't you?
