It's been so long since I got a 2600 game, so I was pleased when Subterranea was in the mail today. It's a pretty cool game, but I'm wondering: Is there an ending? The one thing I don't like about the Defender-style world is that it seems like the game doesn't remember where the enemies are when they go off screen. When I move my ship off to the left or right where an enemy that flew off screen should be and he's not there. I got as far as the first monster and when I beat it, I went even further down, so apparently if there's no ending, if you go down deep enough, you'll end up back on Earth in China somewhere? Now THAT would be cool.
