Puzzled again
I haven't made very many crosswords lately, so I took a few hours and made this one, inspired by some of the recent Sunday Premier Crosswords that have been appearing in my local newspaper as of late. Of course, it's almost half the size, but the themed clues I had didn't warrant a big size. I thought about making this a 15x15 one, but instead worked it out on a 13x13 grid. There's this crossword puzzle magazine out there "Superb Crosswords" that has 13x13 themed ones like this, but they recently made their issues smaller (96 or so puzzles instead of 110). Man I wish I could get published some day. Not for the money, just for kicks, of course. Crossword puzzle making is a hobby, frustrating at times, but when I complete making a puzzle, it feels good to know that it's finished! I also completed today's New York Times one (at least I think I did. I'm not sure about a few answers.) but this is Tuesday, and the earlier it is in the week, the easier the puzzles are. I also wish there was some FREE software to help me out on this. Right now, I use a blank 13x13 grid, color in the black squares and number it with Paint, and then type the clues in and paste the puzzle picture in with Word, so it doesn't look real professional.
