So I finally discovered a quirk with my computer (this marks the one billionth!) The thing does not like the Dev Mode. It now works just fine in the "regular" mode. And another thing: I got rid of the "Insect Combat!" voice at the beginning and the music started playing! I know a little about why that happened, what I don't know is why it was working fine on the Mednafen emulator. And, Richard, the file you gave me does not want to open with 7-Zip. I downloaded a Flash Boy program on Planet Virtual Boy which seems to be working just fine. Well, anyway, the scrolling on "INSECT COMBAT" in the background looks really impressive now that I can see it in true 3D. It is a shame that this fine machine didn't sell more units. When I was a kid and I saw it in a store, I wanted one, but my Dad wouldn't let me (I assume he didn't want to pay that much!) Which was odd, because I got a N64 for my birthday in November of 1996. Well, anyway, I'm happy with my Flash Boy, I'm happy that it works, and I'm happy I know what not to do with it.
