I am a big fan of weird things. Take for instance the Atari 2600. I love 2k games. The fact that people actually took the time to make a game without using much and actually make it enjoyable is astonishing. Of course, when the Atari 2600 was new, 2k was a lot. I also like the fact that people are still programming for the console now, 30 years later. People are trying to push the thing to its limits and stretch out the possibilities with 32k games (OK, I admit, the celery game is 16k right now and will probably eventually be 32k) but right now I'm really digging the idea of 2k games. As some people know, I had an untitled 2k game about a minefield. Well, to see what it was like, I changed it so that the mines are visible and move up and down, so they're not really mines any more. I don't know what they are. Maybe I should call this version "Squares of Death." Right now it's kind of like the first part of Frogger, avoiding the cars (or squares, in this case). I actually got someone to make a cart of the unreleased 2k 2600 game Wizard. Now, I want a repro of that uber rare Commavid game Video Life which I think is also 2k, even though I doubt I could figure out how to play it. I hate the holidays in a way, what with more people shopping than usual as well as the post office being busier (while somehow maintaining to be in a financial crisis  ) Makes it harder for me to buy stuff for myself. Like I doubt I can go down to Best Buy and quickly get a 3DS game without having to stand in a line for half-an-hour. I remember one time I went to the mall on Christmas Eve. It took 15 minutes to get out of the parking lot. I think the people who actually go shopping on the day after Thanksgiving are nuts. But anyway, I'm way off topic now. What was it? Oh yeah, 2k games. Here, take a look at my latest creation. Funny that the picture is bigger in file size than the game itself, which you can download in the batari Basic section of the forums.
