Busy with the Play-Doh again
Last night I made two 10-second stop motion animations of Mr. Claylegs. He has his own website here: http://www.atari2600land.com/mrclaylegs/ Could you check and see if the video will play when you click on it? My mom said she couldn't get it to work at work, so I don't know what's wrong with her computer there. Anyway, this site (and my YouTube site) will be the place to go for more of Mr. Claylegs's adventures. In episode 2, which I will put on the site this Sunday, his legs grow and shrink. In episode 3 (which is January 22), he kicks a ball and it unnaturally goes behind him and knocks him over. I think episode 3 is the best of the bunch so far, and not because it's at 9 frames per second while the other ones are 8 frames per second. I think I'm getting the hang of what I can (and can't) do in stop motion with clay. I have an idea for a fourth episode of Mr. Claylegs, in which he meets Ms. Claylegs. In order to do that, I need a second color of Play-Doh. I'm thinking since I scatter yellow pieces of paper for the ground and Mr. Claylegs is red, I'm thinking blue, which would be weird since blue is typically used to signify the male gender. But anyway, all three primary colors would be in play here. If Mr. and Ms. Claylegs ever have a son or daughter, he/she would be green. I'm wondering if they make brown Play-Doh. Probably not, since it's not really a bright, colorful color. but if they do, when Christmas rolls around again, I'd like the trunk of a Christmas tree to be brown. It could also be used in case Mr. Claylegs poops or something.
