Jumble anagrams
I've always wondered what would happen if the people who made the Jumble put in a word that could be more than one word. Well today it happened. For the longest time, I thought the last word in today's Jumble was Aprils. Looking up "April" in the anagram dictionary led me to "prila", which, when pluralized, becomes "prilas", and the entry for "prilas" is the correct answer: "spiral." Luckily for them, the important letter placements where the circles had been put in was the only possible answer, spiral, which, when anagrammed with the other circled letters led to the answer of the cartoon "PART WAYS." I had a bit of a struggle with "TURYL", which I thought would be some word I didn't know like lurty or something, but I eventually figured out it was TRULY." The New York Times crossword was easier today, which, by the way, had an answer of WII CONSOLE. Now my brain hurts.
