The perfect movie (part 2)

So I got the urge to work on my movie script again. It's at 12 pages so far. My goal is 70 pages since I want it to be about an hour long. Only problem is I don't know what movie studio would want to produce a movie that's only an hour long. They sure didn't have a problem with it back in the 1960s with all those horror films I see ranging from 60-75 minutes. Heck, "The Beast Of Yucca Flats" is only 54 minutes long. In order for the guys at MST3k to make fun of it, they had to put in not one, but two short films (Money Talks! was pretty funny, though. It was produced by imps, lol.) Well, anyway, I'm going to go on some professional script websites where they post scripts. I'm having a little trouble trying to decide if a scene taking place in a car is internal or external. It's not really in a building, but then again, it's in a sort of enclosure. So my movie so far is thus: cop gets shot, dies, comes back to life to his partner as a piece of fried shrimp, who then solves a riddle hidden in a note leading to the arrest of a serial killer. Pretty intense stuff for only 12 pages' worth of stuff, huh? Now, what do I put in the next 60 pages? Dilemma for sure, I hope to one day write the whole thing. Mind you, it's just for fun, but so would be the refusal notes from major motion picture makers. I tried once to submit a "Far-Side"-type comic to King Features and United Feature Syndicate. Only King Features was kind enough to even bother mailing me a refusal letter. Well, anyway, I need an agent if I want to have a success in anything. Leave it up to squish the little guy's chances of getting anything published, or, in this case, made into a feature film.
