Well I put the message "YOU DIED." whenever you eat a poisonous pink pickle (say that three times fast!) in Fatso!, my Fast Food-like game for the Odyssey2. I've decided I want to keep it at 2k since I can't really think of any major changes I'd like to make to it. At first, the YOU DIED message was at the bottom next to the score, but apparently this doesn't work with the Jopac and displays the last three letters in italics and puts garbage above them too, even though I tried to duplicate the problem with O2EM, the Odyssey2 emulator, with the settings on Jopac, and couldn't. So I moved it to the top, where I hope it won't have any problems. The problem with working with the Odyssey2 though is it wasn't as successful here in the USA as it was in Europe. So most everyone on the videopac.nl forums is from Europe, and in turn, everything's priced in euros. Every time I visit the forums there, I feel like an outsider. I expressed interest in releasing the game once it's finished, and got a PM on there from someone in Belgium who has the capabilities to release the game. Apparently the Odyssey2 is really popular in Belgium/France/the Netherlands area. Revival Studios, which released THREE games for it recently is based in the Netherlands. I had no idea when I purchased the system from a guy here on the AA forums that this system has international flavor. Now, if someone could convert "Catch the Ball/Noughts and Crosses" into NTSC format, that'd be real cool. I've seen Atari 2600/VCS PAL-to-NTSC conversions and wondering if that'd be possible also on the Odyssey2.
