moving day
Well, I helped move my dad into his nursing home type place. We had to move all his furniture and stuff from his apartment into room #48 (one away from 47! Imagine my disappointment that Dad didn't get room #47.) Well, anyway, he was sick and kept vomiting and stuff, he wasn't doing too well, he couldn't walk at all. So we had to lift his walker/chair type thing down the stairs with him in it. He got enough strength to plop down into the car. With a TV in the back seat, I had to ride over there with my sister, while mom took dad (even though they divorced when I was 16 or so), and my sister's boyfriend drove the U-Haul filled with stuff to the place. Luckily, it wasn't very far over there, it's still in the same area and all. Then Mom took me to Rite-Aid to get Dad's prescription and then Burger King to get the family (except Dad, who is too sick to eat) lunch, while we were gone, my sister and her boyfriend were moving all the furniture and stuff in and getting stuff arranged. Well, anyway, it's against Mom's wishes, but I wanted Dad's accordion. I figured I could use it in some of my music CDs I make. So I may get an accordion. I had mom take me home because I got tired, so they're still over there doing stuff for him. I bet that accordion is an old one, Dad had it apparently when he was a kid and kept it all these years (for some strange reason). So anyway, that's what I was doing today. I got a couple Odyssey2 games in the mail. Attack of the Timelord! and Turtles. And I may be selling Fatso! when I'm done with it, so stay tuned for that.
