the future of Super Giuseppe Bros.
Well, I think I got all the bugs worked out on this game so far, but I don't know if I want to finish this game or not. It's not a matter of whether I want to, it's a matter of can I? Right now the game is about 800 bytes. A couple more hundred bytes and I'll have to use bankswitching. But that's good I suppose since I got all the routines for jumping and falling and running into an enemy good. Now all I have to do is work out some more routines (like smashing a ? block). I don't think I want to make it possible for him to jump on one because that would take up more precious space. So he'll just have to jump and smash one from the bottom. I figure I'll use the first 1k for the game routines and the second k for level design. Maybe I'll be able to fit this in 2k. Won't be a very long game, though. I just keep wondering whether it's worthwhile because I want to see what kind of game Revival Studios' "Mage" is. If it is a side-scrolling platformer, then Super Giuseppe Bros. wouldn't be worthwhile to work on any more. And Martijn is being stubborn about releasing any details about it. Just one friggin screenshot would be nice.
