Giuseppe can now move left. When I started work on this game, it was restricted to right-only movement. Then, remembering what I did with the celery game (along with getting more comfortable with the game's code), I just now put in the game left movement. I want to keep putting in little perks like this, but I doubt I can think of any more. So, the first 1k (about) is game mechanics while the second 1k is for level data, kind of like how I structured GoSub, only I think I'll be using much more space in this 2k game. I think I'll have to use all of the 2k if I want a not-too-short game. Who knows, it might end up being 4k if I can get it to work, but we'll just wait and see. One thing that bugs me is that when I tried to put different enemies in the game, I tried something and it didn't work. When I went back and tried it again, it worked. I know I did the exact same thing twice. Why it worked the second time around I have no idea. Anyway, the second enemy you'll run into is Champ the chimp. He likes to chomp on chumps. Am anxiously awaiting August 1 so I can see how similar Revival Studios' "Mage" is to my game. It sounds like it could be, seeing as how the guy has to get four crystals (thinking of Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins), but if it's a Zelda 1 type game, I'll continue working on it. If it is indeed a side-scroller, I may quit on Super Giuseppe Bros.
