Wipeout Saturn
Am playing my Saturn again. I thought the font for Wipeout looked pretty cool. So I googled "Wipeout font," and a Wipeout fan-made website came up. I looked at the font but it didn't really look like the Saturn version. So I tried my font making program. I got as far as 0-9 and A-C when I realized something. "There has to be a better way." I thought to myself. So I googled up video game fonts and downloaded one. In its read-me file it said it was made by Fontstruct. So I went to their website. You have to join. So I did. While joining, for username I typed in "atari2600land." It was taken. Who the heck stole my name?! So I typed in "flavoredbiscuit." I don't know why. It's just two random words I just thought up at the time. So now my Fontstruct ID is flavoredbiscuit. And I made the Wipeout font from the Saturn game. Well most letters look OK, but some I had to do differently because there were no "bricks" for them (so some letters, like F, are different than what is actually in the Saturn version. Maybe one day I'll update the font.) Finally, after some 90 minutes of fiddling with Fontstruct and getting a feel for it, I have made my font named "wipeoutsaturn." And you can download it because I attached it. There apparently is no way to judge how high the letters are or you apparently can't change their height. So anyway, I hope you enjoy version 1.0 of "wipeoutsaturn."
