Game Trip To Sheboygan, WI
So today, Monday Aug 27, I went to a collectibles and video games store up in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. The place called Freaktoyz is just a small store packed with all kinds of stuff including video games from Atari up to current systems. Not a bad place as they had a large assortment of games. I bought several Atari 2600, 5200, Colecovision, Intellivision, NES, SNES and Genesis games while there. Most of their pricey games were in jewelry cabinets. They also had other collectibles like comic books, toys, etc. But I was looking for video games. I didn't find any holy grails like a heavy sixer or anything-just to find anything cheap for my collection.
Also interesting to know- the owners of the store know a guy I used to know used to have a collectible/games store not too far where I live. I used to try to sell my self-published comic books in that store on consignment. On a related note, I could be wrong, but it's possible a comic book store was in the very same building before Freaktoyz moved in and I tried to sell my comic books there also.
So if you decide to go, make sure you take a pitstop at a gas station before as they don't allow anyone to use their bathroom. If I would go again, it probably be "yes", but watch their prices on certain games.
