Looks and sounds pretty damn sweet to me! I am sure you have plenty of fun ahead with that rig!

Wow, first two packages (case + some hardware) from one supplier arrived today. That was fast!

2nd package arrived just in time at Friday.

 

I spend the evening to put all the pieces together. Besides a 3.5" to 2.5" adapter for the SSD I had missed nothing. Unfortunately my old DVD burner didn't work and so I wasted some time there and finally had to make a bootable USB stick for Windows 7. I spend the last two days to test everything and to install a few major programs.

Mmmm... SSD. I love how fast my Mac boots with an SSD drive. Never buying another computer without one.

Yea, resuming from Hibernate takes just a few seconds now.

 

My office PC is exactly the opposite. Slow notebook HD, lousy harddisk encryption and bad configured virus scanner combined with 8GB RAM = 10-15 minutes(!!!) from hibernate.

Everything works nicely now, but now my Sony TV is too old for my new computer. I cannot connect it with the computer anymore.

 

So I either buy a cheap, silent additional GPU (maybe used) with TV Out or a VGA to TV converter. Or a new TV...

What were you using the Sony TV for? That will probably determine which route you should take.

 

One note if you are thinking of going the new TV route: not all HDTVs provide native resolution as an option through all interfaces. So although my 55" HDTV had a 1920x1080 panel, it didn't support that resolution via VGA.

I use it for viewing videos from my computer (recorded with Online TV Recorder).

 

For now I bought me a dead cheap (<10 EUR total), used NVidia 6200TC which has S-Video output.
