What I did on my summer vacation

On Wednesday, I took a trip fifty miles west to Lincoln City, Oregon. It's a nice town, and right on the coast. I played in the sand and went to antique shops. I brought home a few treasures. I wanted to buy the zither, but I ended up not because even though the antique marked it as a zither, it said "autoharp" on the thing itself. And it wasn't in very good condition, either. I went to the book store, got a couple of books: David Letterman's "fun facts" book and a book of filthy limericks, which caused me to write some filthy limericks of my own. My stomach hurt when we left and the first night I had diarrhea, but the second night I slept more than just a couple hours. I also got a few rocks from the ocean which I plan to paint on them, like there's one that's real long and narrow and I am going to paint a lighthouse on one side and a seagull on the other. I did occasionally pop in the site, after setting a second connection to my 3DS using the hotel's wifi access, which according to the 3DS's meter, wasn't very strong (mostly one bar in the room). Their continental breakfast consisted of mostly crap food, so I'm lucky I ate at a restaurant the first morning. We went to Mo's restaurant in Taft both nights for a late lunch. First night it was a seafood combo, and second night was clam strips. They serve their food with clam chowder, which is hot enough to burn your tongue on. Well, anyway, it was a good trip, but I'm glad I'm back home. There's no place like it, they say.
