Bugs
Know what has been bugging me? Bugs. Had to kill two of them last night. The way I see it is if you have a life of a bug, you'd be better off being dead. Makes me wonder why I'm working on a game about them. Yep, my monthly dose of Insecticide for the Virtual Boy work has arrived. I worked a little bit of cleaning its website up too. I darkened the bgcolor to make the images transparent backgrounds so they're not rectangular different color backgrounds for the picture. I've been working on this for a long time. I ran across a title screen I made. I think it said 2010 on it! I made a few issues for a magazine of a fake console called the Christendo. Inside there are designs of games and stuff. I didn't see Insect Combat in any of them, but I have had that thought of a fighting game with bugs since I was a kid. I don't know why. I don't even like fighting games. Nonetheless, I bought Killer Instinct for the SNES so I can do some research on the way they work, how it's different than the Game Boy version, etc. I think the other only fighting game I have is Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 for the Saturn, but I don't feel like hooking the Saturn up right now. I think the fighting genre on the Virtual Boy is Teleroboxing. Yep, that's it. My dream is to make a commercial-quality homebrew Virtual Boy game. I think Insecticide is the ticket, unless I think of something else I can do on my own. Right now, a guy who only wants to be known as "morintari" is supplying my artwork. He's done a great job so far with Gi-Ant. Forgot the Insecticide link! http://www.atari2600land.com/banana/ic.html
