I guess you don't have to worry about the Wii-U being a failure. I went in to the Gamestop this weekend and they said you can't preorder a Wii-U anymore because they went fast. So I guess that will be the end of my Nintendo Power plans. Sheesh. I thought it would be a failure. I guess not. I guess I'll have to wait a frickin year after the thing comes out to get it like I did the Wii. I guess they don't want to release it a few months after to have a few more on hand because then they'd miss the big Christmas season. Anyway, the reason I'm writing this is because of the Pikmin series. I sure would like to play Pikmin and/or Pikmin 2 for the GameCube. I can't find the games anywhere. If anyone has either of them, PM me. And the thing about the Wii-U is because Nintendo plans on releasing Pikmin 3 on it. Guess I'll have to wait 10 years after it comes out to play it, too. Oh, and I've been working on Odyssey 2 programming again, this time I'm working to finish Traffic! Added a (apparently-non-working) timer that goes up to 99 and then starts over again even though it's supposed to stop at 60. So excuse my bad mood, I'm just wondering how big a success Wii-U will be if my store sold out of preorders.

Ahh, well yeah, thats going to be a pain. I would assume that they will produce 'more than normal' based on the timeframe of which they are launching it, and also based on how mature the Wii is in the console cycle. They also claim to have a 4 or 5 month launch 'window', so if no one can get them in that 'window' the launch is really quite a failure.

I'd love to try one out too, but the scalpers will be buying the first round - expect then on eBay for much higher prices (I always dislike that). Hopefully will get a change myself sometime next year

I believe they did a re-release of Pikmin for the Wii. Dunno if it will be any easier to find than the GC versions.
