Microvision site almost completed
For the most part. Of course, once it's done, I'll keep adding stuff to it whenever I think of it. All I have to do is get a scan of a MindBuster instruction manual and then I'd have the instruction manual for each 11 games scanned. I'm supposed to be getting MindBuster in the mail later this week. So then I'd have a complete collection, except for a Star Trek manual, a box for Cosmic Hunter and Super Block Buster, which was released only in Europe. Since I don't have a manual for Star Trek, BigO supplied me with a scan of one. I think the Microvision is a pretty cool little system, even though its games I don't really want to be playing all the time. I think my favorite one is Bowling. Vegas Slots is sort of interesting. BlockBuster is kind of cool. Once I get my shipment in, I'll take a picture of my collection and post it here. It is certainly a part of history what with its being the first handheld console. I just wish MB would have chosen a different path for cart making so it'd be homebrew-friendly. I bet they didn't even know that people today would be wanting to make Atari 2600 games 30 years ago, what's more with the Microvision. I wonder if Tetris is doable on it. There's a 2k version of the Atari 2600 game Edtris, so may be. I read that the max size a Microvision game can be is 2k. Anyway, visit the site at http://www.atari2600land.com/microvision/
