I got my first NES in Christmas of '90. I had just turned 8 years old. A long time ago it broke, so I decided to get a top loader, even though it was more expensive. I eventually got a dogbone controller for it, too. But I still longed for the old-style NES, Well, I went to the local game shop and got one. I came home attached it up and was going to put Super Mario Bros. in. I looked in the slot: Free game! Unfortunately it was just Dr. Mario, but it would have been cool if it had been something like TMNT Tournament Fighters or something. Anyway, the thing works. Step 2 is to find my Game Genie and see if I can get it working as well. Need more games for the thing as well. I already have a few, but am not looking to collect them all, just ones I think I would like. So now I have both models, but I have a nostalgia for the older one.
