remaking Matchbook Magazine
not the current Matchbook magazine, but the one that came out in the 1970s. Reading the book "Alphabet Avenue" by Dave Morice again. He's quite the fellow. In the 70's, he invented a character named Joyce Holland and using this name put out a magazine of one-word poems (real or fake words) submitted by other people. I don't know if anyone would be interested in making up poems of one word, but if you do, please give me a holler. I'd prefer 1 inch by 1 inch (the original Matchbook magazine size) PNG images of your own design with one word, but if you can't, just give me the word only and I'll do something with it. Here's an example of stuff I'm looking for. "orangmatazz." It doesn't have to have a meaning, but I made this one have a meaning: "To display something using the color orange prominently." And here's the page I'm going to use for orangmatazz. As you can see, it's orangmatazzy. So, if you're game, PM me, and if I get enough submissions, I'll mail you a free copy of your word in my magazine, and I'll give you credit. If you want to read more, follow this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dave_Morice#The_Joyce_Holland_Literary_Hoax Dave in the book referred to himself in the third person ("a magazine edited by Joyce Holland"), but now I know it's actually Dave that is Joyce due to the link.
