Strawberry Kingdom Forever
I've been playing with my DK Bongos again. I beat level 4, then noticed I needed 6 chests in order to open up level 5. So I had to go back to the first two worlds and earn silver chests (you can get one of three chests: Bronze, Silver and Gold. Bronze just for beating an enemy, Silver for leaving a certain amount of hit points, and Gold for leaving a higher certain amount of hit points left after you beat the boss stage. These hit points are called "beats" in the game.) I played the game for at least a half hour doing this (unfortunately I can't look up the amount of time spent playing the game on the Game Cube (it doesn't have the feature.) And after playing that game for half an hour, I was clapping and bongo pounding so much that now my hands are numb. And I couldn't even play level 5 (Strawberry Kingdom) because my hands hurt. I clapped them to death. I even managed somehow to break a nail, but it's ok because it was getting long and probably needed to be cut anyway. So anyway, next time I drag the thing out and play it, I'll have a new world to play. And this time, it had been so long since the last time, playing the first two worlds were just like playing new ones anyway. I think I'm in the clear for the next three worlds unless I die, which is a strong possibility since I'm not very good at the game, since I now have 6 chests and you need 7 to open level 6, 8 to open level 7 and 9 to open level 8. Like I said earlier, you get a bronze chest just for simply beating a boss. I wonder what happens when you die. Would all that work I've done be erased or what? I hope it just gives you another go at it. I don't have an instruction manual for the game so I'm not sure what it does. Next time I try the game, I'll probably figure out what it does.
