Wii-U: Day 2
Apparently Mom changed her mind about getting a dog. She says that she wouldn't be there to housebreak it since she's at work all day, which is good for her since that's one of the points I brought up is if she wants her house smelling like dog poop and pee. Anyway, day 2 of the Wii-U saw me beating level 1 of New Super Mario Bros. U and then promptly getting my first death in 2-1. I died a few more times before reaching the fortress. After dying in the fortress a few times, when I beat Roy's fortress level (at least I think that was Roy), I have 12 lives going into level 2-4, which I might play tomorrow. After beating 2-1, it splits into two different tracks, one leads to 2-2 and the other leads to 2-3. 2-2's title sounded easier than 2-3's (2-3s title had something to do with fire snakes. I don't want to figure out if these snakes spit out fire or not.) 2-2's level had a bazillion Pokeys in it. I got to ride Yoshi in level 1, but at the end of the level, Mario automatically hops off Yoshi and Yoshi waves Mario goodbye as he heads into the castle. Not fair. I want to ride Yoshi into the next level! Also, saving whenever I feel like it would be a nice option instead of only being able to save at Fortresses and Castles. I figured out that the only time you need to plug the Wii-U controller in is if you're recharging it. So that will save some battery wear if I had it plugged in all of the time (I think.) I want another game for this thing. I asked for Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed for X-mas, so I can't get that. I think only having one game for a system is quite dull, playing the same thing over and over again. If level 2 of this game is this hard, I don't know if I'll have the gaming prowess to beat this one. The only New Super Mario Bros. game I beat is the original on DS. The only reason I only got to level 3 on NSMB2 is because I have too many games. I tried to get rid of some stuff, but I'm still stuck with games I'll probably never touch because I'm busy with other ones. Such are the dilemmas of video game collecting.
