Wii-U: Day 3

Only spent 15 minutes on NSMBU today. I promise myself to go in short spurts so I wouldn't get tired and too upset with the game. Died a few more times on level 2, especially the castle. Despite opportunities to squish myself in the moving bricks, the dying was while trying to defeat Morton (it wasn't Roy after all.) Morton calls up a huge Pokey and sends its body parts zooming towards you. You never know if it's going to roll on the ground or go flying in the air, so very very VERY quick reflexes are needed, along with luck. Then, Morton bounces up and down like a maniac and you bop him on the head. Repeat this two more times and he's gone. Now I have a choice to make. Do I go to the water world or the ice world? I think we all know the answer. Swimming in video games sucks, so I'm going to save it until the later stages. It's not procrastination, I just want the game to be harder and harder, not suddenly ramp up the difficulty on level 3. But I saved my game and turned the game off. A few more system updates happened, once when I tried to enter the game, this one actually told me how much time was going to remain. After going through some rather scary numbers, (like 1 hour 40 min.), it settled on 5 minutes. So all in all, I've spent 1 hour 7 min. on New Super Mario Bros. U and only defeated level 2. If I continue on this rate, I'll be happy to have a new game to fiddle around with come Christmas time. I just hope that the game doesn't become TOO hard and angers me so much that I have to trade it or sell it or something. Just for fun, I looked in Data Management, and saw that half the space was gone. Hopefully this isn't a harbinger of stuff to come, like NSMBU taking up all that space? It said a portion of the data was used for the hardware, and I only got an 8gb model. Something isn't quite right here. I have 4 gb left with one game? Well, maybe I won't get too many games for this and end up having to store some data on an SD card or something. I still want to get at least one game a month for my Nintendo Power e-zine. I'm all done with issue 1 and will post it now. Watch this URL for future updates: http://www.atari2600land.com/np/
