In the Zone...
The R-Zone. I got one in the mail today. So I turned it on. Nothing. I tried some stuff and nothing happened. Then I wondered what would happen if I unscrewed the tiny screws. So I did. I found the battery compartment. There were no batteries. That's why it wasn't working! So I put some AAA batteries (I was surprised I had 4!) and it turned on. Success! I could now "play" Virtua Fighter. The thing is like a Game and Watch type thing, only in the color red and you strap it to your head and you look at the reflection of it through a piece of clear plastic. Yep, that's Tiger for you. I suspect it was to compete with the Virtual Boy. The Virtual Boy is much better. Heck, the game.com is better. Now I need more games for my R-Zone. I suspect why I don't like it is because the only game I have is a genre I don't like. Maybe I'll like it better once I get something I'd enjoy playing. I only have Virtua Fighter. If you have any games for the R-Zone, please PM me. The box arrived at the doorstep when I was doing something. I quickly saved what I was doing and rushed outside to get it, since there's been reports of people following mail delivery trucks and snatching boxes from people's doorsteps since it's the holidays. I also got Namco Museum and Ratchet & Clank for the PSP, was disappointed that there were no boxes for them. Anyway. the box came with foam peanuts. My cat likes to eat them. So I just rushed into the dining room and closed the box so she wouldn't get into it. So anyway, the eye that the R-Zone uses is the same one that I get eyeaches in and I feel one coming on, so I probably won't use it much today.
