Wii-U night of December 25
So I got home from my sister's house and started playing Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed. It's one of those games where Easy mode is too easy and Medium mode is too hard. If only the dorks that programmed this found some happy medium between easy and medium. sigh. So after about 50 minutes of playing that, I switched to New Super Mario Wii-U. I was very tired by then (I had only got 5 hours of sleep the previous night.) but I guess I wasn't tired enough to be angry at the stupid game being so hard. I had to have the machine beat two levels for me (I love that thing.) Somehow or other, I defeated the Rocky Mines castle after only one death. I thought you had to hit Izzy from under. No, I learned that you have to bop on his head. I guess I figured my way since I saw the machine beat the fortress guard that way. I swear games have gotten way too hard from since I was a kid. I can beat Super Mario World. But god forbid I be able to beat New Super Mario Bros. Wii-U without help. So after 10 hours of sleep, I woke up and it was 11am. I had wanted to go to Best Buy or some place to get Nintendo Land or some other Wii-U game, but by then it was too late and they were probably packed. So I didn't get to go. I think the Wii-U has a lot of potential, but it's sad to see it be wasted, especially in New Super Mario Bros. Wii-U, where it's just what's on the TV screen repeated. Game & Wario: it says all it uses is the Wii-U remote and not the TV screen. Wouldn't that essentially be a sequel to WarioWare: Touched! just on a different system? C'mon Nintendo, use your brain power a little more!
