Nintendo 64
Well, it looks as though I won't be going to one of my usual used video game haunts. The Lancaster location of our local Game Crazy caught fire yesterday, which I thought was odd because last time I was there on the 30th or 29th or so, a fire truck just happened to be at the same strip mall, I think he was getting coffee at the drive-through coffee stand. News sounded pretty pessimistic about the whole strip mall, apparently it was a pretty bad fire. So I wonder what will happen? Will they close forever? Rebuild? Anyway, I'm playing Mario Golf on the N64. In 2000, I had made a 10-page thing called "Nintendo Stuff New Old Tip Book Vol. 1". I never made volume 2. Then, 13 years later, I thought I think I'll make a vol. 2. So that's why I'm playing the N64 version of Mario Golf, for tips. I'm specifically writing tips on how to get holes-in-one on various mini-golf holes. All of them are shaped like letters or numbers. They made I really long, so long you can't get a hole-in-one on it. I spent about a half-hour trying to get a hole-in-one on K when I finally figured out how. Just looking at the letter K, you'd think it would be a hard mini-golf hole. You start on the bottom left and the hole is on the bottom right. Talk about nightmarish. Looking ahead, methinks M and W would be pretty hard. I haven't actually got there yet. I've played holes 0-9 and A-K, so L is next on the list. I am kind of pressed for ideas about the other three games in the tip book (vol. 1 had four games: Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Yoshi's Story, and Diddy Kong Racing). I think I might make a list of answers of $1,000 clues from Jeopardy! Well, anyway, my throat is feeling better. I don't think it was a problem with inhaling food. It's just some weird thing I get sometimes. I have too many problems...
