The Triangle song
This all started coincidentally. I had bought a compilation CD off the internet called "Two A.D." since I had "One A.D." (collections of ambient songs. I blame my sixth grade teacher for this. She made us listen to One A.D. and I admit I liked it. So I asked where she got it and I went and got it myself. Back then sixth grade was in elementary school. I was the last class to have sixth grade in elementary school so I got to begin seventh grade and not be the youngest class in it. Years later, I got interested in Jazz. I don't know how I came across Herbie Hancock's "Inventions and Dimensions," but I have it. The point I'm making is both the CDs have a track called "Triangle." Since then, I'm trying to make a complete collection of songs called "Triangle." Triangle only. I found a list of songs about triangles on the internet. It had stuff like "Pink Triangles" by Weezer. But one song interested me: "Triangle" by Jacno. I have never heard of Jacno before. Google turned up info about this French synth-pop/punk guy whose debut album indeed had a track called Triangle. His single is called "Rectangle," though, and both the debut album and the single have similar covers. So I went on eBay and found the cheapest Jacno album (which wasn't the one I wanted) for $12.99! I guess Jacno albums are very hard to come by. So I need help from anyone French to track down a CD release of Jacno's debut album and mail it to me here in the USA. What's interesting is that both Triangle songs I have so far are over 10 minutes long. I'll have to see if the Jacno song is too. even if it isn't, I still want it. I know, I'm weird when it comes to stuff like this, but I discovered bands I like with the long song collection, like Dream Theater, Miles Davis, etc.
