Yay! Millipede is one of the Top 10 games of the system as a whole!

You bet it is. That game is amazing!

I agree! I have to play this about once a week. I never had it back in the day. It really gets the heart thumping. I average about 40,000. Once I was in The Zone and got over 120,000, went to take a picture and bumped something and lost it.

I guess it was released late (1984) and I loved arcade Centipede but didn't care for arcade Millipede. Amazing how good 2600 games were getting in 1984+ (Millipede, Jr. PAC Man, Midnight Magic).

 

Moved on to Colecovision and Atari/Supercharger adding Intellivision II, then Atari 800XL then real life. Just recently discovered Millipede and it is a top favorite of mine as well.
