Since we know from the installation date and state of the stickers that the drive is the original then we know that this unit has actually only been turned on and off 50 times. That is good for any original Xbox and especially good for a development/debug unit with which someone may be power cycling the unit with great frequency while working on their software.

Some units, primarily prototype or "beta" units, did not have the lettering. The "xsled16" sticker is the name that was used when configuring the unit to uniquely identify it on the network and on the PC's used in conjunction with the unit in the Xbox Neighborhood. There would have been other units with a unique id that were also part of the "xsled" project. "xsled" was the codename for the "Media Extender for Xbox" software.
