   We have one here in Kennesaw, but I stopped going when every sale involved a "price check" by looking on ebay. They've been becoming more a comics shop anyways.

   Yep, do the same and the price is always worse. Also, items on EBay are in far better condition. Everything local looks like it's been through hell.

   I played it and tracked the time.  Just wait until you get to the (free) DLC called "Farewell."  I got through the whole game, but I had to quit at that point.

   Yeah, now I can have an emulator window on one screen and Emacs on the other, plus some more application without juggling windows back and forth. However either it is due to HDMI or the image quality of the TV screen, but hires text was nowhere as crisp as on my LCD VGA monitor.

   By reducing the resolution from 1920x1080 to 1360x768, I'm getting mostly sharp pixels but it is a waste of estate to have a 22" wide TV with that low resolution. Perhaps I should go look around for the optimal resolution.

   Out of trying to satisfy my own madness, I put it in late 2nd-early 3rd gen (where 7800 is full 3rd gen, and 2600 is standard 2nd gen).
    
   To me it sits in the same category as the Colecovision and the SG-1000 of sitting inbetween the 2nd and 3rd commercial generations as they don't fit nicely into either bracket. I think even then I'm being a little generous to it, and its probably closer to an intellivision level which I regard as late 2nd gen.
    
   because its the internet, one day I'll present my findings with a revised generation system based on game detail and console capabilities rather than where it sits year wise by sales. Then everyone get to poke all the holes into my theory like any good troll thread.

   A belated one? I wonder how Atari had fared if instead of trying different new architectures that didn't hold water, had decided early on to use the A8 chipset and put out the 5200 a full year earlier, perhaps even simultaneously with the VIC-20 (that pitched itself against the 2600).

   Never played the 5200 much.  We were always an Atari home computer family and never had any Atari consoles.  The kids across the street did get it on year for Christmas and I really enjoyed that Football game they had for it. Was the best console football game to date inho.
