All 5 Phantasm movies are on Tubi now, so if y'all wanna have a Phantasm movie marathon this weekend, go for it. GF and I watched the original last night (it's remastered -- beautiful video/audio). GF had never seen any of the Phantasm films. We're watching Phantasm II tonight.

For some reason, I randomly decided to Oracle of Ages, with my excuse being “looking for some inspiration for tile designs for my Zelda 1 Gameboy port.”
I’ve so far beaten like 2-3 dungeons, and the dungeon design is unlike the other 2d Zelda games I’ve played extensively, unsure if the games that I haven’t played bares some similarity. Anyhoo, I’ve acquired this feather that lets me jump, and the dungeon is very well designed so you can make use of this. Loving it so far!
I wonder if the in-game save function (not the emulator save state) will carry over when I copy the .gbc file onto my everdrive. Where does the save data go?

I feel sick. Someone got my cc #. It is cancelled and a new one is on the way, but I still feel sick.

With all those additional security systems added to credit cards, I don't get how the card number itself - even combined with name of the holder - can be misused so much. It seems it depends on which country the recipient is based on how much of added security is required. Sometimes you need a separate ID checking app or device that creates codes, sometimes only the CVV/CVC code is needed, sometimes you can skip even that. No wonder that various mobile based payment methods as well as cryptocurrencies are gaining ground when securing the old systems still leave huge gaps.

We get a fraudulent charge on at least one card a year. It's pretty much life as usual these days. We've never had to actually pay for any of those false charges, which is good. Also good to go over your CC statement each and every month and look at every single charge. A lot of times the false charges are small enough to fly under the radar unless you're diligent.

The comics were never as funny as real life. A friend once drove through a fence and turned his car onto its roof. His girlfriend had stuck a Garfield on the back window. It got decapitated in the accident. He walked to the nearest phone box and called her to pick him up. Her response was "never mind about you. What happened to my Garfield?" Not sure if she did pick him up. Her name wasn't Irma.
