"Humans" was cancelled after only three seasons. Bah!
      1. GoldLeader

        Ummm   ...  Agreed!
      2. jaybird3rd

Yet, "Star Trek: Disgracery" is getting a third season, and is somehow winning Saturn awards, too.  Crazy.
      3. GoldLeader

Ya gotta remember FOX was the only one taking any risks with sci-fi at that point and yet still would cancel almost anything before it's time (Like Terra Nova, for instance, and other shows like The Tick or Greg The Bunny (which may not have been sci-fi, but were different and interesting and yes Killed before their time )...So it was tough, because on one hand at least they tried it, but on the other hand...Well...Look what they did to Firefly if you want to see mismanagement...Episodes Missing, Showing episodes out of order after being told specifically not to do that by the creators, Moving it around the schedule until no one could find it...
FOX was the BEST/WORST Network there ever was numsayin?

I'm Diabetic. It's not fair! What did i do to deserve this!
      Pray for me, please
      1. Austin

        Type 1 or Type 2?
      2. RockyRaccoon

It's either heredity or your diet that causes diabetes.
I'm diabetic too. I am not a doctor. But my suggestion for you would be to: cut sugary soda and/or energy drinks out of your life- first if it's a major part of it. Switch to Zero Sugar/Diet versions of them.  Or just switch to Water or Non-carbonated zero-sugar stuff like Crystal Light drink mix or sparkling flavored water. I really love their lemonade flavors and Clear American's 'Orange Cream' flavored water.
I'd then cut out carbs and most junk foods. Replace them with better things for you. It turns out Walmart sells a lot of super cheap 'Steam in bag' vegetables in the frozen aisle under their great value brand and now I love the hell out of Brussels Sprouts now. Also lean meats/protein. Also, cut out carbs whenever you can. Research everything you eat--- for example-- I know 'Rice' sounds healthy for you, but it's actually one of the worst foods a diabetic can eat because it WILL cause a horrid blood sugar spike. There is a specific rice 'breed' that will cause a lower spike if you must have rice in your diet, but I forget the specific one.
You absolutely need a glucometer now. Log your glucose reading either in a spreadsheet or a log book. Also.. I know it sucks, to stick your finger with a tiny pin three times a day, but do it. If you're diabetic you absolutely need to be checking your glucose meter at ''least'' five times a day (Once waking up, once an hour or so after your first meal, once before your last meal of the deal and once after, and one in the middle of the day.) , and maybe more if you're feeling 'off'.
        If you're type 2:
Also look up youtube videos about giving yourself insulin if you feel a lack of confidence or worry about giving yourself a needle of insulin--- if they've prescribed it. I also suggest getting an insulin ''pen'' if your healthcare plan will cover them rather than a vial you fill a needle with. Pens carry easier in your kit and they're 'easier' to take and use and you can get needles for the pen in various lengths if you're scared of a longer needle
Just some advice for you that lowered my H1AC dramatically to healthier levels, but you may be different. Talk with your doctor. Look some stuff up online.
      3. Blindseer42

it's type 1, just found out today.
      4. GoldLeader

I'm sending good vibes!  I have a lot of friends and relatives who have it (I should probably be checked out myself)...It's not the end of the world.  One thing I will mention is that I had a friend go into that "low blood sugar" state and suddenly he couldn't even talk.  I called his niece and asked her what to do.  Turned out giving him apple juice snapped him right out of it.  So you might find out what to do in certain circumstances and tell friends ahead of time, just in case...

Me too. But I was happy enough to let them go once it was clear that mine were not the only copies in existence.
      3. AtariWarlord

Blindseer42 wouldn't watching them in chronological order (starting with TPM) be a worse punishment? Three movies before you get to a good one.
      4. GoldLeader

Ya know what would be more fun (IMHO)?    If you bought all of them recorded to VHS with commercials intact!   (ducks)...Really!   I recorded some Dungeons & Dragons cartoons and Land of the Lost reruns, etc., in the 80's that way...Back when VHS was new and exciting,  and you never thought you'd be able to capture a TV show and have it available when YOU wanted to see it...and there were occasions in the past where my friends have asked specifically to see those complete with all the old commercials, and In The News segments, Schoolhouse Rocks etc. intact!   It is Truly far more entertaining than watching the same episodes on DVD...(It really captures the zeitgeist of the time)...
