The Mega Drive failed pretty badly here and they didn't release the game on the Japanese Mega Drive, so this is the only version that's available in Japan. I'm one of maybe 2 people on the entire planet that actually likes this game, but I'm not sure I want to pay that much cash for it when I can just play the Genesis version or the Director's Cut version instead. Sonic was never as popular in Japan as he was in the USA from what I understand, but it's still surprising to see a Sonic game that's so expensive. I've never played the Saturn version, but I'd like to try it eventually.

    If it's not Mario, It won't sell like hot cakes in Japan

    Completely.  Go back a week or so.  We had been talkinga bout Neo Geo conversions to the Gameboy, even some videos with coverage/reviews were there.  I had mentioned I was after a specific game, which I got hooked up a link about on yahoo japan auctions.  I won the auction, it arrived here days ago.  The big one I wanted was the 8bit conversion of Money Idol/Puzzle Exchanger which is that pink-yellow on there in the bottom row.

    See that down front and center?  I got it last Friday, spend the day cleaning those things.  Bottom row I intend to keep, maybe that R-Type center above there.  Money Idol Exchanger (and Miracle Adventure of Esparks) very happy to get these and discovered a few more strange fun ones too.

    All the Capcom Generation Games except 5, I have that, Panzer Dragoon 1 & 2 Pocket Fighter, Most of all the Shooters on Saturn

    Anyway the Playstation or known as PSX, PS1 released in NA on September 9th 1995 

     

    Going on to sell 102.49 million in it's lifetime

     

    The Best Selling Game on it is Gran Turismo, 10.85 million shipped

     

    Over 8,000 Game Released World Wide for it

     

    In the 90's I was in too Fighting, Racing Games, Missing much of the Libaray, But I do have most of the Good Ones
