[Fixing a 7800 Cotroller]

I have a 7800 Controller..I havn't opened it yet, But when I tryed it on the 2600 it dosn't work at all..How can I tell when I open it up, what's the problem

I have 2 Keyboard Controller, How do I clean tape & sticky thing off, The cord is so sticky it sticks to some stuff..Is there a cleaner that cleans it like new

I'm in a deal getting a 7800 for $23, If anyone have the System & the controller for cheaper..then I tell that guy I'm buying for cheaper, I'm on a budget every month..I'm looking around like $15..if not, I go with that guy

I'm new hear..I just want to ask..what 7800 Games can use the 2600 Joystick, like i'm really in to Arcade games like Ms-Pac-man, Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr & Dig Dug. Can you give me a list....
