  1. Program is not for copy-protected floppies. What is case if you have original games. 'Bad' sectors are normal on such disks. Try imaging with Pasti, or look on WEB for already made cracks/images.
  2. I thought that it is faster to read infos on homesite of program. No wait for reply
  3. If you can give more details, yes. As OS what you use (Win98, XP...), what floppies etc Btw. it is not conversion, it is transfer or writing of images... :-) Btw. program has now much more features. You can now extract or add files from/to ST floppies without any imaging. But of course, making images is very recommended from safety reasons. http://www.ppest.org

  5. If it is possible, please don't promote WFDcopy. It has serious flaws, and even if it served you well, it means not that will work good for others. Why? Reason is that it relies on Windows floppy drivers, and that drivers are changed a lot in last versions. Culprit is MS in bigger part, but Wfdcopy has his own flaws - as bad work with floppies with bad sectors. Btw. it's author discontinued it, and removed from Sourceforge. I recently tested Windows 95 on one 200 MHz machine and saw very interesting things in relation with Atari floppies: it worked well even with floppy formatted with TOS 1.0 and capacity of 800KB ! Things gradually gone worse considering Atari ST floppies with every new version of Windows, so we have situation that in Windows XP is not possible to read whole 800K floppy without special driver. More about it here: http://www.ppest.org/atari/floimgd.php & http://www.ppest.org/atari/FloppyMistery.php
  6. Has anyone tried this under Win98SE? Does anyone read instructions for programs? Seriously, it would be good that it work under Win98, but MS changed too much in architecture, so it would require lot of work - actually writing somekind of low-level floppy driver. And Win98 users can use MAKEDISK - it will do the job is most cases. Instead it, I work currently on making of Linux version. It is more 'future-proof'
  7. I made floppy imaging programm for Windows. It can make images of diverse capacity Atari ST and followers floppies, and write floppies from images. More on site: http://www.ppest.org/atari/floimgd.php
