You're talking about the old Nashville network. Not The National Network. The New TNN rocks. The old TNN was all country all the time. Ick.

Well, going waaay back a few years, according to Nintendo Power's 50th issue (With the gold cover and the owl from Link's Awakening on it) Shaq-Fu was the worst NES game ever.

Atari 2600 (Wooden panelled version) NES (Original front loader boxy design) SNES (Original design) N64 (Original black) GameCube (Jet) Xbox GameBoy (A couple. Mainly rereleased colored ones) GameBoy Color (transparent purple) GameBoy Advance (White) PSX (Before the PS1, The boxy one) Had a PSX once but... it sucked. Sold it to help buy games for the GCN. The Atari is probably in storage. Barely works anyway. The NES is in pieces in a box. Still "works" but barely if I put it back together. Have a dead one I got on eBay in Storage. Tried to open it for parts but the screw was stuck. I'll try again when it leaves Storage. Had a regular GameBoy grey but died and so I took it apart. The SNES is still working perfectly. Have a nice library of games for it. The N64 is the same. Works great. Have a few games left. The Xbox just got LIVE today and I am very happy. LIVE kicks PS Online's BUTT! Getting a GBA SP probably in the future for myself. Now.. would you like to hear about all the Macs I own?

This game looks pretty darn cool. I love the Zelda top-down games and can't wait to give this a try. Looks pretty awesome.

Computer style has finally come full circle

Hmm.. Small and White. I still don't see that as "Copying" the Dreamcast. I mean, The DC isn't really "White" like the iMac is White. The iMac is REALLY white. And it's small because it's able to be small. The older ones could have been small too. CRT's do make them big tho. Anyway... We had one at our Toy Store for a while. Have you ever heard of "Family Toy"? We had a unit that was returned. Missing Expansion Pack and box was broken. I kept discouraging people from buying that one as they could get a more reliable used one from the GameStop down the street. But it finally sold.. Hmmm... -

Exactly. Those N64 rereleases do resemble iMac colors. I wanted a Green one but my Black one still works as well as the day I got it... well, the day I actually got a Game for it. Since the whole "Rush of '96" cleared out all N64 games for three whole months before I could play it! Huh? I don't get it. Does the iMac say "It's Thinking"? Does the DreamCast have a Chrome arm and an LCD screen attached to it?? -

WTF? If I wanted to get made fun of for using a certain computer, I would be in a PC forum. And adding that smiley does NOT make it all right. You need to have grounds to justify your standing. Or something.. What do you call what you wrote above? I'm sorry. I am sick and tired of people making fun of a person just for waht computer they use. You can use your PC. Let me use what I want. -

iMac.. Not I-mac. Not IMAC. Not imac. iMac. Apple.. Not Macintosh. Apple MAKES the Macintosh. I'm only here to educate. -
no such thing as a great nes sight
Jasoco replied to seizurebot1011's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Exactly. It's like all the good NES sites are Kid-ridden. They all talk about stupid stuff and show off links of idiotic year old Flash files and animated GIF's and laugh at them as if they're brand new. "Hey! Look what I just found! All Your Base!!! HAHAHA LOL ROFLMAO!!!" -
Our local GameStop only has older USED front loaders for $30. I'd love to replace it with a top loader as my front one has a bad connector too. If I play around with the game and jiggle it and press power enough I'll finally get a game to play. But I hate to do that with my Zelda and Dragon Warrior games since they have the first generation "Press Reset while Powering Off" type save feature. Whose silly idea was that? Though, ironically, those two games seem to be the only games that play almost immediately. Heh. I have it set up with the top off and the inside exposed since it's easier to play with the game like that. I'm thinking that's the only thing werong with it. So I think I'll replace the connector and hack the NES internals into something. But I'd really rather have a Top loader. But they're SO hard to find!

I named mine "Eat It!". It's been named that ever since I began writing the DOS version for my brother and sister to play. The thing is I planned to release it as Shareware on my site later on and charge $10 to activate the full thing. But if someone owns the rights, they'd probably ot like it. Though, that would be a good way to find out who owns the rights to the game. If they start coming after me. Though, my version is changed SIGNIFICANTLY from Fast Food. But it still is Fast Food under the skin of it all. Same basic concept. Eat the food. Get points. (Though the original uses calories as points. Mine uses point values.) Mine will also have extra special things like special bonuses and multipliers and stuff like that. And I do mention "Fast Food" and "Telesys" on the about page. Basicaly I say "Eat It! is based on an old game by Telesys" blah, blah, blah.. and the opening screen has a copyright "Copyright 2002, Jasoco - Original concept 1982 Telesys".

Interesting gaming documentary on cable

The arcade version of Bubble Bobble is the best! The NES version didn't do it justice. They released the Arcade version on the PS and I bought it. It rules! Too bad I sold my PlayStation. Well, at lease I have Virtual Game Station on my iMac. -
Seeing as we're all fans of old game systems, we've probably ALL seen this site. But I'm posting for those who haven't yet. http://classicgaming.com/vcsp/index.htm This guy takes his old systems (Atari 2600, NES, SNES, PlayStation, and maybe soon DreamCast and GameCube) and makes them into portable versions complete with actual miniature TV monitor with backlight. And he does it very well. He even sells some sometimes.

I LOVE MY GAMECUBE! I bought it about November/December and got Smash Brothers. My brother and I have unlocked most of the secret levels and all the characters. Then I bought Pikmin, Crazy Taxi, Simpsons Road Rage (Awesome game). My brother got Extreme G for Christmas. I'm waiting for Sonic and can't wait for them to release a RELA Mario game. Luigi's Mansion does NOT COUNT. Luigi is my favorite Mario Brother. I feel Nintendo ruined Luigi's rep with that game. I WANT A REAL MARIO GAME! I also want an EarthBound sequel. Like the one we were SUPPOSED to get here in the states on the N64.

For me that would have to be "Fast Food" also by Telesys. If I start playing I'm addicted. I love it when it goes "BURP!" and makes that sound that's supposed to be a Burp. I love the game so much I'm creating an updated version.

I am creating a Fast Food update because I just love the game. I was wondering, is Telesys still around? If not, who owns the rights to Fast Food? I'd buy it from them. Seriously. Is the company still around? The game I am creating takes the general idea of Fast Food and builds on it. You're still a mouth, but there's more food, the game is full color 640x480 and has a lot more features. I originally created it in QBASIC and my friend got addicted! Then I lost the game in a freak HD accident two years ago and just recently got back to programming it in TNT Basic on my iMac. And I must say it is coming along great. But I've always wondered what happened to Telesys? And who got the game rights to their games.
