Tja, Scheiss-EM. Ich will mein Steuergeld zurück!

Does anyone remember a game called Lexi Cross
p_b replied to Atarimania75's topic in Classic Console Discussion
This one? http://www.mobygames.com/game/lexi-cross I mainly remember reading reviews about it and playing it at a friend's place. But it never was one of my favourite games, sorry :-) -
Ever really really WANT to like a game, but can't?

FF XII. At least until now. I quite liked FFX, so I was looking forward to XII. However, it's been in my PS2 for about 3 or 4 weeks now...unplayed after I put something like 4 hours into it :-( -
Professor tries to establish a formal video game canon

It's a football (well, soccer...) game released for the Amiga, the PC and IIRC the Mega Drive as well. I'm sure there are other versions, but I've never seen them. The game features rather simplistic graphics, but it's an amazingly fun and fast game. I used to play it quite obsessively a few years ago... -
Mario Kart Double Dash here, as well as the Mario Party series and recently the Wii Play/Sports disc. Not really old-school, but hey...

We used to have a really good store near my, friendly assisstants who were quite knowledgeable and everything. Then suddenly there were a whole new lot of employees...and things went downhill fast. Went in there, got three games (full price games as well!) and went up to the counter to pay....only to find that the employee was using the store computer to entertain his friends with some uberleet gaming skills. After about a minute I told him that I wanted to pay for my games. His reaction? -Yeah, I'll be with you in a minute. -Look, I want to pay them now. -Yeah, just a sec, I'll be with you in a minute. -Can I pay my games or should I just go away? -Yeah, don't stress me, as you can see I'm in the middle of something! At which point I started laughing. And then I left. I hate that! I don't expect them to treat me as if I were the king of the whole world, but if I have to wait to give them their money because they are too busy playing games....never.

I remember writing a complete walkthrough for this game and sending it in to a game magazine in Germany. I spent nearly a whole week playing this game, drawing maps of the levels and so on. They never printed it, though

I'll do my best :-) Subject: Capella-software is looking for a worker in support. Dear Capella user, please apologise for bothering you with this email. We are looking for a worker to enlargen our support-team. We believe that we'll probably find a qualified person in our user-base. Maybe you even have an aquaintance who might be interested in this job. You'll find further information on www.capella.de under the link "Sie und wir" (you and us) in the main menu. Kind regards, Edita Werner, CEO (probably :-) ) Hope that helps, Nils
