  1. Not pdf but still a good resource.. http://www.page6.org/index.htm under whats new there is a link to buy a Page 6 DVD
  2. I tried to get the above program uploaded to youtube with several different setting, but always changed to 30fps. My own short Atari800win Plus 4.0 video, just to see if I could force a 50fps, called E80tree.avi.
  3. Have you contacted Classics to ask for the XP upgrade? I don't remember paying for the upgrade's since paying for Window98, But I don't remember real good any more.
  4. Check his post and look for a line like this one..
  5. Try this one::: http://atariwiki.str...DOS_1.30_Manual Sorry this one didn't work ..................... But you can search from his wiki page..
  6. Well SpartaDos 33a, and Bw130.dos works with MyIDE. They are both command line dos's and run much of the same productivity programs. Run MSDOS43.COM from the command line when you want games. OR have a third partition with msdos43 and swap it in when it's time to play, and then you can have IMAGE SPACE also.
  7. Old Spartados x file to switch sdx cart on --- I got it off a BBS or Compuserve or Genie back in the mid 80's 8D E0 D5 ;Switch for cart 4C 77 E4 ;Jump to coldstart I didn't realize that CP.COM was outdated.
  8. Q#1-- MAN information wouldn't be correct for 4.39 ELSE TYPE A:>MAN>DIR.MAN Q#2-- no answer but a tip would be to copy XON2.COM to your game atr and ESC long names select xon2.com and this resets SDX4.42 without turning off power to reset CART. Q#3-- I haven't been able to do this since forever. Q#4-- Try the MyDOS related files many of them will work with SDX try some out and pick the ones that will work on the EMU Tip #5 SET COPY=A:>CP.COM or you may not have heard of the CP.com copy utility.
  9. Well I just had to give this a try. I used MakeAtr to rip some of my orignal Mypicodos-MyDos 16meg ATR's to local drive [folders]. Then emptied two SpartaDos ATR's with Emulator [16meg] copied over MSDOS43.COM & MSINI2.COM. Typed BOOT MSDOS43.COM, and tested with Emulator. So far everything is working good on the Emulator. Then using MakeAtr again opened first SpartaDosGame.atr and loaded it full of the files from local [folders]. Renamed my PICONAME.TXT files to msdos.dat. Wrote a small basic program to change the mypicodos format to msdos.dat format on all the ATR folders. Rebooted with Emulator with SDX442(maxflash).ROM and all the files and folders are set. I have ran quite a few of the games with the emulator and so far only two games didn't load. Freecell.com from Flop Magazine caused a crash. Gyruss file version caused a crash. I was using Atirra 1.6, next I am going to copy the atr's to Sio2Sd and try these games on real hardware.
  10. I used SpeedCalc the few times I needed a spreadsheet for the Atari, never used SynCalc, and VisiCalc was I little confusing back then.
  11. Look through this thread to find a possible fix... http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/126183-fixed-low-sound-on-my-800xl-ntsc/ ...... I fixed one of my low volume 800xl with this chip.
  12. Yes it does work after a disk refresh. I had not thought to do that because the other SORT options cause a refresh. Sort>None is fine the way it is without a refresh, probably not used often. IF you could also change (take out) the Beta startup screen in the current BETA 3.11v3 the icons would still be usable. Name it 3.11vI 'for icons'.
  13. Great news, I recently was using this version [bETA], and notice that the Directory Sort function NONE doesn't have any effect on either DOS SpartaDOS or MyDOS. Just wondering if this is an effect of the [bETA] or will it be non functional in the final release.
  14. OK, it is a 100 ohm resistor. No instructions as I had the 1200xl Modified by Atarimax[Classics]. But adding just the chroma to Pin 5 on an unmodified 1200xl I still don't get anything visible on my LCD tv. If I turn off the TV I see a short flicker of the screen displayed. All my 800xl's Modified with just the chroma pin connected with a 100 ohm resistor have a visible screen. But none of the 1200's will allow the LCD to see the display. So I was wondering if the 1200xl drives the luma pin with a value that the LCD will not interpret[decode].??
  15. Make sure SHIFT is pressed first then holding shift down press F5, and if you don't need basic press shift + option then F5. There is a file program that will swap basic in and out on one of my disks I will see if I can find it and post here..If you don't already have it..
  16. I have the original svideo mod [pre ClearPic 2002]. I see a black screen with the LCD tv, on the 1702 I have a very chrisp image using Luma Pin1, Chroma Pin5. but ----------If I turn off the 1200xl I see a short flash of selftest screen on the LCD or dos menu if I have the drive connected. This flash seems like very bright blurry colors. TIA The red wire goes to Pin 5 of J2 with 100K ohm inline before pin..
  17. Look at this thread some posted packers http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/162279-looking-a-some-files/
  18. It would be nice if there were a command line switch to load a cartridge (ala.. SDX442) at the same time I am loading /bootrw SDX.ATR then I wouldn't need the extra reboot.
  19. Bob would something like this work for an LCD TV. I know this is an old thread but, I recently got an LCD Tv, and I am hoping to move away from my 1702 monitor. Mainly because of the recent posts about using LCD and Svideo. All my 800 xl/xe's work on the LCD Svideo, but not my 1200xl, and yes it has the Svideo mod. Back side of 1200xl motherboard. 1 5 2 4 3 0 0 0 0 0 / / Z Z <------------75 OHMS / / | Ground Plane | Thanks,
  20. Last week I was playing with the PacMan games because of the High Score Club postings and tried to play DeRePacMan.xex and it locked up the emulator. DeRe Pac-Man.xex I think that it may be a converted basic game.
  21. Time to begin assembling a future 'Atarian'.
  22. I also found this file on one of my utility disks. This one is an Atari file. The chkxex.zip file is for use on the PC. FF.XEX This asks for a filename to trace and then lists file segments, INIT, and RUN.
  23. What? I thought we were looking at the Chroma resistors.
