Roydea6 replied to tf_hh's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
I would also like to have one KEYCON. -
When I flashed my setup I had to restart the flashing software after the first attempt failed.. Then the software found the device chain and the button was lit up.. you also have to have the check mark checked for PROGRAM/CONFIGURE..

My memory upgrade board came in the mail today..... -
pwrledxf.arc This is the arc file. PWRLEDXF.TXT and this is the text file that was in the arc file. I used Altirra Emulator and mounted the arc file as drive D1: and booted with SpartaDos X and copied text file to PCLINK directory and attached to this post..

A 30 year + seems more appropriate for the classic 130 XE.

Post #350 has as of that date the latest update.

I have tried to duplicate the problem of yours, but inverse key always quits config program (SDRIVE.XEX) and restarts SDX with my mounted atr on D1: Try adding the sdrive.xex to your autoexec.bat D1:SDRIVE.XEX on the last line after selecting your atr press the inverse key.

Thank you for the clarification about the 'street name' is actually street number. Success after all. From USA member using the first character 2 instead of E. for part of password.

Have you ever open the Cartridge to check the battery and or check the PCB for obvious faults with a magnifying lens. I have reseated the battery in my Side2, well actually I replaced the battery. Have you contacted Lotharek to see if he would repair or replaced. Also have you updated the U1M bios with sideloader/ pbibios/ main bios.. Even with a yellow screen make sure the Side2 switch is in the down position and U1M has SpartaDos in the disabled position..

9.5.1 PCLINK.SYS - link to a PC file server Purpose Install PCL: device allowing the DOS to act as a client of a file server using the DOS2DOS protocol. The file server may be a PC running SIO2BSD or similar peripheral emulator, the PCLink software and DOS2DOS protocol allow to access files stored directly on the file server's (PC's) disk. Syntax DEVICE [d:][path]PCLINK Type External - on SDXTK disk. Availability As of SDX 4.43. Remarks The file server must be up and there must exist a physical connection to it at the time the PCLINK.SYS is loaded. Currently the only existing compatible file server is SIO2BSD (an APE-like peripheral emulator running on BSD and Linux via the SIO2PC cable). The driver installs device PCL: which works quite like CAR: except it is writable and recognizes subdirectories. Files on PCL: (hosted by the file server) may be then freely managed using ordinary DOS commands such as DIR, COPY, REN, DEL, MKDIR, RMDIR and so on. The device is also registered in CIO - as DPCL: and accessible from (e. g.) Atari BASIC as such. There may be as much as 15 PCL: units, depending on how many are hosted by the file server. They're numbered the same way as disks, i. e. PCLA:-PCLO: The driver by default uses the internal SIO drivers and UltraSpeed fast I/O protocol (which means that the file server may also be attached to the PBI bus, if any time anyone builds such a device). The driver works best with SDX 4.43 and later. Just put pclink.sys in your path and call via autoexec.bat or direct command line. and use PCL1: or PCLA: 15 slots available. 1-9,J-O or A-O. pclink.arc

OSB has no self test check sum routine, so any modification is not noticed by the OS./or hardware.
