Larry just drag and drop onto the mads executable for this one. But I browsed through the A65 listing to change a few things before I dragged and dropped. If you have ever done any Raster View pictures there is a batch file you can read for some of the syntax.

Why not add the Maxflash Studio file to this download so we have the option to put different game roms in the menu. There is only one game rom that I play a lot and it is not on the menu listing. Also there is not a 32k pack file in this download.

The binary files I was trying to use are on the CAR: portion of the SDX449 rom file. And hiding the OVL files fixed the problem.

Thank you hiding the OVL files did the trick, strange that they were not hidden at the factory.

I found the IDEPLUS file in and older folder I once used as a PCLINK folder. And so I stuck this file into and ATR and added the newer SDX449 ideplus.rom from the download site. I will PM you a copy of the bootable ATR.

Okay so now I can not remember how I got SDX449 flash to this REV'E' IDE plus. I seem to remember using an atr with a flashing program and the rom in the atr also. I can not find the atr and Uflash is asking for information about the rom that I do not know. If any has this information to share. I would appreciate it.

The original MyIDE was connected to the CPU and then later moved to the OS slot (for convenience) so it does not have to interfere with the OS cable from the U1M if you don't want it to..

I have both and internal and external MyIDE ]1[, As is the drawing of the one posted above. The internal MyIDE is in an XEGS and the external is built into a cartridge with a CF card adapter to IDE 40 Pin. (The same is needed for my internal MyIDE ]1[). The U1M 800XL and MyIDE ]1[ cartridge only needs the MyIDE.SYS file loaded to see the CF card, and the XEGS internal MyIDE ]1[ needs the MyIDEI.SYS file loaded with an SDX448 cartridge plugged into the cartridge slot to see the CF card. I don't use anything but the standard OS rom for XL and standard XEGS 16k OS for the internal.

When APE does its installation I leaves behind in the install directory both the 32 bit drivers and the 64 bit drivers. So have you tried redirecting your driver update to the 32bit driver folder..
