  1. Next up -- This fully working Ghost Manor with a cracked case:
  2. I have a 7800 with no expansion port and it plays everything -- Robot Tank, Supercharger, you name it. My Imagics are a VERY tight fit (heck, so are most Activisions) but it always works. Oh, and I recently discovered a workaround for carts that fit so tightly I don't want to force'em: Get yourself a Video Game Brain (I'm guessing the ROM Scanner would also work, but I don't know for sure.) It even allows me to play Tigervision games, which won't fit in ANY 7800 model to the best of my knowledge.
  3. I still have a Sears text label Maze up for grabs.
  4. Tips -- 1) Don't use the flashcubes unless you have to -- you only get points for gremlins you shoot. 2) Heed this advice from the manual: "If you shoot one Gremlin and another is directly above it, shoot the second one before you move away." Or the third one even! 3) If you're out of flashcubes and know you're going to die -- keep shooting gremlins until you do! You can usually take out 3 or 4 more if you move away from the attacking gremlin.
  5. Yep. PM me with your address and I can get it out yet this afternoon.
  6. Check it out at chasethechuckwagon.com: http://www.chasethechuckwagon.com/item.cgi...item=0000003658 90+ games, no dupes. Ends tonight!
  7. Just bought a few games from him and am very pleased. Very easy to deal with.
  8. 9 pages of "Violent"... 5 pages of "Mad"... 3 pages of "Evil"... ...but only 2 pages of "Love." {sigh} What kind of message does that send to all the little emoticon children?
  9. PM sent for Inca Gold.
  10. Ha! I guess I do have bad eyes! I completely missed that. I thought there was some very subtle main label variation that I was too much of a noob to pick up on. Turns out I was just a blind dope.
  11. For those of us who have decent enough eyes but are relatively new to the label collecting end of the hobby, how can you tell, exactly?
  12. I asked for somebody to take'em and they all got took. Thanks!
  13. As I've started listing the dupes I've been getting from lots, I've been doing eBay searches for every title and was struck by the high cost of this game, too. Check out the listings in eBay stores The cheapest one is $12, loose. By way of comparison: Digital Press lists its value at $4 loose. This price guide sez $8. I personally listed a copy recently for $5.39 and accepted an offer for $3.50, and I was happy to get it.
  14. Egad, man, don't do that! Clearly, I need all the help I can get! Seriously, I just like to rip on this game -- I ain't ripping on the people the like it!
  15. See now in my mind the above statement is directly contradicted by this one: {emphasis added} Seems to me that "if done correctly", pulling the plunger to the exact same spot each time should result in exactly the same opening shot. Y'know, kinda the way pinball machines in the real world work. After all, if the ball behavior wasn't predictable, skill shots would be luck shots, right?
  16. Like me, I suspect you slept through the unit on Bizarro World physics in your high school physics class. Seriously, I know this game has a lot of defenders, but... well... WHY? It's awful. If this was a real pinball machine, no one would play it. The layout blows, there's very little to shoot at and there's endless opportunities for the ball to get sunk without you being able to do a damn thing about it. At least Video Pinball has a nudge feature, fer crissakes! And seriously -- in what way do the actions of the ball reflect anything resembling reality? It's usually moving slowest at the bottom of the table! This game is mostly just an exercise in frustration and restarts for me (after all, what's the point of continuing if your first ball sucked? It's not like you'd be wasting a quarter or anything...) </rant> Anyway, here's my submission: 96,075
  17. So is, like, everyone having this same dream. Too weird.
  18. Sure, by eliminating the cheapest method! I can't tell you how much revenue I've lost in my record store because of this change. LPs are expensive and overseas customers make up the bulk of my sales. So when shipping charges TRIPLED for some folks, suddenly my goods weren't as attractive anymore...
  19. Are you sure that's not a "RARE! IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND VINTAGE PRINTER! MAKE ATARI LABELS AT HOME JUST LIKE THE PROS DO! Low $30 reserve!" ?
