  1. All-unique label variation lot! Mystery lot of immeasurable value! Come on folks, I need these to sell high! I've got my eye on a yacht and I'm only $150,000 shy of the down payment... Mention AtariAge after you win and I'll throw in a rattle-y Hunt & Score or a Freeway with a chunk of the case missing -- your choice!
  2. Just completed a nice sale/trade with Waterborn. Friendly communication, great carts, fast shipping, nice packing. What else could you want?
  3. Not really. The money raised at Goodwill stores is for helping poor people. Goodwill stores are basically just permanent fund-raisers. But there's no real expectation that only poor people will be purchasing the goods -- and a moment's reflection should make it clear that a store could not survive long if only the poor were allowed to shop there.
  4. A great guy to deal with. I've made several purchases and it's always been a pleasure.
  5. Excellent! I was wondering when we were gonna start a new season.
  6. Yep -- it's a Brazilian CCE cart (so I guess it's technically PAL-M.) But it's also already probably sold. Do you want me to let you know if the sale falls through? My potential buyer has passed, so the CCE and Zellers cart are now available again.
  7. Sweet, thanks. Nice to know I ain't crazy and you ain't wrong. I've come to rely on your site quite heavily as my label variation collection grows.
  8. And received! Thanks a lot! I hope to find the time to give it a whirl tonight.
  9. It's been a pleasure dealing with lgallair.
  10. The Atarimania listings for the Imagic International carts says they are all PAL. I recently acquired copies of Star Voyager and Cosmic Ark in this label style and they're definitely NTSC. Just curious what the story is. Am I insane? Is my 7800 magically playing PAL carts? Are these listings possibly in error? Or am I simply confusing two different carts with similar labels?

  12. Hooray!! Looks great -- can't wait!
  13. NO LONGER AVAILABLE: The Xonox double-enders Backgammon, Basic Math, Codebreaker, Fast Food, Fire Fly, Front Line, Gopher, Miner 2049er II, Mouse Trap (red label), Pele's Soccer, Pigs In Space, Porky's, Pressure Cooker, Sky Skipper, Space Shuttle, Spacechase, Submarine Commander, Super Football, Superman, TacScan, Video Checkers, Warplock, Wizard of Wor. ON HOLD: Chopper Command (blue label) Pitfall! (blue label) _______________________________________________________________ OK -- here comes another round of great deals. I really, really, really prefer PayPal payment, so other offers may be bumped in favor of PayPal users. Sorry, but it just makes my life sooooo much simpler. I'd love to do trades, too. Unfortunately, after spending several hours this weekend compiling a comprehensive want list, I somehow managed to delete the damn thing inadvertently. But if you have trade lists, feel free to send'em my way. For starters, anything in these first two pics can be yours for: $1/ea. or 75 cents each if you purchase 5 or more or 50 cents each if you purchase 10 or more. As for the rest, owing to massive laziness on my part, I don't want to bother pricing these (and after I recently complained on another thread about how I don't like unpriced goods, too... {sigh}) so shoot me your offers. No reasonable offer will be declined. When sending your requests, please include your zip code so I can calculate your shipping costs. Thanks for looking!
  14. This didn't really show up too well as my avatar, so I opted for a picture version instead, but I like this one better:
  15. The tape covers a misprint which says "Use with paddle controllers." You can read more about it here under the heading "2a. Controller type error re-releases (1986-1988)"
  16. Did you check out that ad too?We really should have made that contest part of this week's event and awarded bonus points for the correct answer. Or $1000. Whichever Ze_ro prefers.
  17. There's always just gonna folks who, pretty much no matter what, will never give you a 5. It's the Platonic theory of feedback rating: No matter how good your service was, it was merely a reflection of "the perfect transaction" which only exists in some ethereal Realm of Ideals. IMO, eBay's user ratings should probably be mathematically weighted, the way the IMDB does with movie ratings to attempt to compensate for fools who feel it's necessary to vote a 1 or a 10 just to try to unduly influence the overall score. Sure, the system would still suck, but it would probably suck just a teeny tiny little bit less.
  18. Thanks for all the help, folks. I ended up setting up a pre-arranged time with my buyer and just doing this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=300235680696 I figured, worst-case scenario: Some idiot would click the BIN and I'd have to sell them 5 carts for $8.00. I can certainly spare them, and since I'd get to choose the carts...
  19. Isn't there some way to have an auction on eBay that is exclusive to certain bidders? I know there used to be, but damned if I can figure out how to do it now.
  20. I just received a huge cartridge lot the other day. All the carts were in great shape and the box was properly packed (in the sense that it was bulging with packing material.*) Unfortunately, the material in question was exclusively packing peanuts and the carts were all loose and unwrapped. It took me over an hour to pick all the tiny pieces of Styrofoam out of the open slots. I can't imagine this would harm the cart, but man, what a friggin' nuisance! *Note to shippers: It should be DIFFICULT to close a properly packed box. If you don't have to hold down the flaps while taping, you need more cushioning material in there.
  21. A slightly more rugged look, that's all. Excellent artwork. Well honk my hooter! Not too shabby at that when seen side by side as you presented them. I guess in my head, Harrison Ford looks like... well... a much older Harrison Ford. Then again, what did you expect from an observation that was prefaced with a disclaimer about its stupidity?
