  1. There's currently no shortage for shells so I guess I could knock off $5 from the price, but as you'd have to pay postage to ship it it's not really worth it. So, cart, box and instructions: $69.95.
  2. I restarted Mozilla FF, cleared the cache and reloaded Atariage.com, no difference. "Use Full Editor"-button still does nothing. I'm using Mozilla Firefox 3.5.3. I tried Internet Explorer 8.0.6001.18702 and it doesn't work there either, it reports an error on the page after pressing the "Use Full Editor"-button. This is the error, sorry, it's in Swedish but I think the error is probably understandable anyway:
  3. I tried to edit a reply of mine and tried the "Use Full Editor"-button but nothing happens, it doesn't seem to be possible to remove an attachment in the other edit mode...
  4. New YouTube-movie of the new menu: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WaRTkNbMO8
  5. EDIT: The Sonar Search I found was not a new version, there was eight bytes missing a little more than half way through the first half of the dump. It wasn't even playable - which I should have checked of course. It seems I need to look over the dumper code, it was a very strange place to miss data. I had the same dump with four different carts so I thought it was OK... I'll remove it again from the Multi-Cart code... *sigh* I found an earlier version of Sonar Search today when I dumped some carts, there are (so far) a version before week 45 1978 and one from week45 1978. The later version is previously known and dumped. Here's the zipped binary. I updated the Multi-Cart and added both versions of Sonar Search, also changed the numbering to only be present on actual released cart versions, so there's 36 different dumped carts and a bunch of other software as well. Pac-Man is not listed as a cart since it's not the full cart version (no intermission animations nor intermission music). Here's the new full list: CART 01 TIC-TAC-TOE CART 02 DESERT FOX CART 03 BLACK JACK CART 04 SPITFIRE CART 05 SPACE WAR CART 06 MATH QUIZ 1 CART 07 MATH QUIZ 2 CART 08 MAGIC NUMBERS CART 09 DRAG RACE CART 10 MAZE CART 11 BACKGAMMON CART 12 BASEBALL CART 13 ROBOT WAR CART 14 SONAR SEARCH CART 15 MEMORY MATCH CART 16 DODGE-IT CART 17 PINBALL CART 18 HANGMAN CART 19 CHECKERS CART 20 VIDEO WHIZBALL CART 21 BOWLING CART 22 SLOT MACHINE CART 23 GALACTIC S.W. 6. It seems the later carts were mostly offered to registered customers to buy via mail order - someone who bought them at the time probably knows exactly.
  7. BTW here's the back: The pamphlet that came with it: This is were we see the title "Casino Royale" and strange graphics that wasn't in the final version. ... and the envelope: I think I got them from FND - he's good with the paperworks...
  8. Wow, I've never seen that flyer before. What year was that from? (81/82?) Judging from the title of it you probably already knew it was Christmas 1982.
  9. It was called Jet-Stick, and the version for Atari-compatible sticks was called Video Command, which was first sold without the extra button. Before I got one I thought they had just drilled a hole and mounted a button but the handle halves have been reworked and molded differently than the original stick... Here's how the Video Command version with button looks inside - I don't have a "Jet-Stick" yet...
  10. Yes, if you buy a cartridge you have also bought any future box and instruction booklet. I'm thinking I might gather the on-cart instructions in a pamphlet or something like that.
  11. Now that's a good question, that would require some extensive testing. I know that Sean Riddle edited the M.E.S.S. code to mask out any unused code of a cartridge and then looked closer at that. I don't have near his knowledge to do something like that, I'd have to disassemble it and then go trough the code from the beginning...
  12. I may add the best pictures to a free slot in the Multi-Cart.
  13. Yes FND, that's them, I see you have gotten hold of two other prototypes as well, I hope we can get them dumped... I added the five prototypes that were actually playable: DRAW POKER (Casino Poker) COLOR ORGAN FOOTBALL GLACTIC SPACE WAR SPITFIRE Some are very different in the binary-file but seems to play the same. There's probably missing code in Color Organ, but even if you just use the first 512 byte it plays the same, the "Robot Wars" code are very different but I think about half the code of that one is missing... That's why it resets after the players are written to screen. I hope we can get new dumps of them eventually. It seems I haven't mentioned that the alternative Slot Machine was dumped OK and added to the Multi-Cart earlier this week. You can check my YouTube-page for new recordings: http://www.youtube.com/user/e5frog
  14. Here's Chess (not done uploading yet): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-MevezDTCE It's ten minutes of me playing badly against the computer at the easiest level.
  15. I'm done with the menu for now, I also added the prototype "Draw Poker" to the menu as it differs in the sound effects from Videocart 25, uploaded a new YouTube movie of the menu: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ChM3GHkj-A If you check my other videos you can also fid recordings of Draw Poker and Casino Poker.
  16. I'm going to add a video of Color Organ today (I have planned), I might also add a short game of Chess at the easiest level (fastest). Keep an eye here unless I remember to add a comment when it's up. http://www.youtube.com/user/e5frog
  17. It seems that Maze is only meant for two players: Instructions can be read here: http://w5.nuinternet.com/s660100106/gallery/txt/videocart10.txt
  18. And here is the third try, I had to make the sound come a little pefore the picture to get it right after uploading it to YouTube:
  19. Here it is: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270411368000 Not the cheapest one you can find but OK. Here's one with box: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350223864920 ... and here's a complete set: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=310150572329 I'd go for the complete set, it's a good price.
  20. Couldn't edit my post above for some reason. I had to edit the video the sound was out of synch. Here's the new one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dedcuEsSHo Edit: It seems YouTube f*cked that up as well... even if it's closer this time.
  21. You're locked inside a room and a ball starts to bounce around inside it, both players avoid to hit it and when a player gets hit the other player receives the score that is counted up from the beginning. The size of the ball and players vary, the speed of balls and players vary and also the size of the room and the number of balls increases with time, I think four balls is the maximum... I'll make a video of it and put it here: http://www.youtube.com/user/e5frog There it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=idkxHmAkSNc
  22. Yearning to Fly... it seems very popular. Thanks for your vote. Feel free to name second and third options as well. Just noticed - I can make a poll!
  23. Let me know which one is your favorite picture: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F6f3RWGV7jQ
  24. Here's a preview of the menu of the Multi-Cart, originally made by Sean Riddle and edited by me. As mentioned before, buyer's name will be displayed before the currently first screen is showed: Old version: NEW: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ChM3GHkj-A
  25. New YouTube movie with sound in sync, recording from the latest version (Build 31 - which is the version on the Pac-Man cartridge) and it also shows the first intermission at 4:00. NEW PRICE: $69.95! I have ordered a new batch of carts, current price is $69,95 plus shipping (of your choice) if you make a personal payment with PayPal there's no extra charge, otherwise add 3.4% extra to cover the PayPal fees.. Bank transfer is welcome also. This is the last batch of Pac-Man carts and it's as cheap as it's gonna get - get one and enjoy the intermissions, an authentic box and instructions those are the three things not included in the Multi-Cart version. Welcome with your order.
