  1. It's as bad on a real 7800 as it is in the emulator, don't waste any $$$ on it.

Well I'd offer to help ya, but I'm just not a Mac-Person
  3. That video store was ripping peeps off big time, I was manager at the local video store back then when ET came out (That video store is still there to this day and still in buisness.) Waxworks (the company we did all of our ordering from) sold them to us cheap enough where we were able to pre-sale copies for just over $20.
  4. Cloak is your friend Also helps if you played Make Trax any in the arcade back in the day, or now with MAME
  5. God I love Preppie & Preppie II, shame the level 4 on Preppie II keeps repeating over and over though. 76,100
  6. Sucks that Mapper 23 isn't supported anymore though (not since 1.38) Dragon Scroll - Yomigaerishi Maryuu uses that mapper and now I have to use FCEU Ultra to play instead of my Fav Nestopia.
  7. And add the missing players' colors! and make the slimers easier to catch in the traps, seems I recall them being alot easier to catch on the commode door 64.
  8. And add the missing players' colors! I completely agree
  9. Wish they would close them out already then, my local Wal-Mart has about 10 or 12 Black GC's still on the shelf and still at $99. I want a couple more of them, an extra one to mod, and one to leave unopened to collect.
  10. Hmmm.... Kennedy Approach Preppie Preppie II M.U.L.E. Ghostbusters
  11. No way I can remember all of them but here goes: BallyHoo Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy Deadline Zork I,II,III Planetfall Sorcerer Leather Goddess One I beat that I can't recall the title of now, had something to do with egypt, pyramids, sand, all that stuff I do believe, God that's been 20yrs ago or more on most of those
  12. I was given a DK or DK jr Cocktail (been few years back don't remember for sure now but I'm leaning more towards it being DK) it was in pieces and bad shape, boards were shot from being out in the weather, I ended up hauling it to the dump. Everything else sadly I'vehad to buy.
  13. All my loose carts are stacked up lying in a open box on my bedroom floor. I know I know, not good, but I'm pressed for space
  14. Dark Chambers was another game that used the extra memory, might have even been required IIRC.
  15. I completed Raiders back in the day, I do recall several several several long distance calls to atari asking for hints and clues and such though.
  16. They are all close to me, about a block up the street at a pool hall that an old man runs, I'm going to go over this afternoon and pick them up. He also has a Double Dragon 3 he wants $200 for but I'm going to pass on it I think for 2 reasons. #1. That game sucks although I could make a M.A.M.E. cabinet out of it I guess. and #2 it only works for about 5-10 mins, then it goes black screen, might be a power issue might not.
  17. Would love to see some of the editing and pallette features of Nesticle added to Nestopia, think it would go from being one of the best of the NES Emulators (Still tend to use FECUltra alot) to being damn close to perfect
  18. I've got a chance to buy a Twin Eagle Game for $200 Also a Table Top Galaga for $250 and a non-working (dunno what it is or is not doing yet) Ms. Pac-Man Tabletop for $200 all appear to be in great shape as far as the cabinets and artwork at least Twin Eagle, I haven't looked over the table top cabinets good yet. He even has the keys to the coin boxes. My question is before I shell out the money, is that a good price for them or should I try to get them cheaper. Thanks

  20. C-64 for me seems like just about everything I had was cracked by EagleSoft A-8bit - Glenn the 5200 man
  21. Might try playing through the game, either a cabinet or through Mame...It just might be listed in the credits somewhere as to who preformed the music.
  22. Ahhhh.... this takes me back. Reading your post, I just had a a hazy recollection of issues with Coleco-made intellivision carts pop into my head. Seems like you'd plug 'em in and often get a black screen, and you'd have to switch the whole thing off and reseat the cart and try it again. I know I had it with Donkey Kong and I think Carnival. Once it got going it was fine but often it took a few attempts, at least for me. I don't recall it ever happening with any other company's Intellivision carts. What does your cart do when you plug it in and turn it on? Hi, as I remind (I tried it some time ago), the game totally garbles itself after the initial choice menu. Unlike other games in my collection, a console reset was not enough. I've other Coleco games, but they work fine. Since I was enough used to "clean" game cartridges, I don't think it's a dirty trouble. By reading your misadventure with Coleco cartridges, I guess: is maybe a compatibility trouble with some Intellivision board version? Anny I've had some do that Anny, I took them apart and use just the board you can move them around better to get them working that way, just don't do any rare carts that way
  23. Anyone know of a good C++ compiler, A friend says if I want to learn to program C++ is the way to go. Thanks
