  1. Activision's Ghostbuster's for me has to top the list of my Fav C-64/128 game, I thought it was the best on the C-64 than any other system. also: #2. Park Patrol (another Activison title) #3. Infocom's Text Adventures esp. Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy #4. Stroker 64 #5. Artwork's Strip Poker

    Misfit Mame

That would be great I'd love to see the rest of the DK hacks, and of course the Pac, MS. and Jr. hacks, the KOF hacks would be way to big, so would the Metal Slug Hacks. I have the Baby Pac-Man romset, but it's from like 1999 and Misfit won't pick it up even if I name it baby2 or baby3.zip so I dunno what its looking for on it.
  3. Being it's a hack we'll never see it in mame, same reason DK Foundry isn't in mame. It'll only be in Misfit Mame, and Raine I'd say.

    Misfit Mame

I've been searching the newsgroups as of late for Misfit roms also, the only ones I've seen there though are Donkey Kong Foundry, Donkey Kong(h) & Donkey Kong Jr(h). Havent seen any others in there. I believe those were in the Alt.binaries.(something I don't remember atm).arcade
  5. With any luck he will start selling the rom like he did for Donkey Kong Foundry, was cheap too, like $5 or $10 bucks to DL it. With the way Nintendo is I'm surprised they haven't sent a warning letter yet, they seem to be good at doing stuff like that. Although I don't see any reason why, not like they still support there old Arcade units anymore anyway.
  6. I've played his original hack Donkey Kong Foundry in Misfit Mame, haven't seen this one before.
  7. I'd add Electrician to that list as not being only FDS, It wasn't available on cart for NES, but it was on either Atari 8bit or C-64 maybe both I just can't remember for sure atm.
  8. Has anyone else had problems with this emulator? The problem I have is on some roms (even if you don't have a key set to be autofire) is that button A will pause the game when pressed and un-pause when pressed again, like it is set to be autofire. I have tried deleting the cfg file and starting new with no luck. Any Suggestions? Thanks!
  9. I had a cart that wasn't in a case that a friend had given me back then, I didn't know it at the time just thought it was a stupid space invaders copy that only allowed you to play for so long. It was burned up in a bon-fire back in the late 90's along with a 2600 a bunch of other carts and some other old video game stuff I didn't give a crap about anymore (or didn't then). I know now that that stupid space invaders clone without a case was Pepsi Invaders. Talk about a loss Chalk one up to pure stupidity I guess Kenny
  10. Are you saying that you did infact own a copy of Pepsi Invaders that you threw in a bon fire? Where did you get it from originally? It was given to me by a friend, at the time I had no idea what it was other than it wasn't in a case and played like space invaders. Believe me I'd kill to be able to turn back time now that I know what it was. Live and learn they say, I chalk it up as a lesson very very hard earned.
  11. Back in the mid 90's when I was kinda outta the video game scene I tossed a couple 2600's around a hundred or so carts, and one cart that wasn't in a case (that I now know was Pepsi Invaders) along with a C-64 & 2 1541 disk drives into a bonfire that I had built behind my house one evening. Looking back on it now it makes me sick. But yep I'd say that would count as abusing my 2600
  12. Okay, I skimmed through quickly so I might have missed some of these being mentioned already. Not to mention they might have been more popular than what I thought but the machines at least in my area were hard to find at the time. Crazy Climber (Still love this one to this day) Satan's Hollow Wacko Venture Elevator Action
  13. I have to have one, I didn't get in on the first run because at the time all I had was Prosystem Emulator, now I have a 7800 so I def want one of the cartridges!
  14. Actually on the 100+ or so of them made, 1 can be subtracted from the ammount of them known to exist. Because (and looking back now it makes me sick.) in the middle 1990's a neighbor gave me a 2600 and several carts, including on cart that was just a board with no case, when I hooked it all up and inserted the cart with no shell it was what I now know to be pepsi invaders. I was out of the 2600 stuff and didn't care, and thought it sucked since you could only play for like 3 mins. So one night when a bunch of us were drinking, I threw all of it into the bonfire we had built. So count up one copy of pepsi invaders destroyed. From my own not knowing nor not caring at the time. Looking back I would give my left nut to have that game again instead of what I did to it.
  15. Baby Pac-Man will take PinMame I believe since it isn't emulated under MAME, and it is a pinball/video game hybrid. Ms. Pac-man Plus is easier does need .113 and up and you will need the parent rom set which is none other that the ms. pac-man romset mspacpls.zip
  16. I'm 40 (or will be in a few months) and I live in Dawson Springs, Ky.
  17. The Killer Instincts. Area 51, Gauntlet Dark Legacy, Gauntlet Legends, and Simpson's Bowling, I don't download simply because with Dial-Up, downloading those huge CHD's needed to run them, would take days
  18. Yes prom.6e it was, and that fixed it, thanks!!
  19. At the risk of having everyone jump me about not upgrading often...I just upgraded from MAME 0.37 BETA 1 to MAME 0.113 (Yes I know how old of one I was using but after all these years it still worked fine for me.) Of course you can imagine the problems I had with my roms after this (although some actually still worked), and after the past week basicly rebuilding my roms from scratch, there is only one rom I can't get to work...Frenzy. Seems it needs Prom.e6 to function and a google search on the doesn't help me. Anyone have any ideas about this and how to locate this Prom.e6? Thanks!!
  20. Does anyone have any experience in translating Jap to English on NES? I've been trying for awhile now to translate the Jap Nes Game "Law of the West" into English. This was one of my favorite titles on the Commodore 64, so when I seen there was a Jap version for the NES I figured it was a must. Little did I know at the time what I was getting into. I seem to get garbage when I insert english text. Thanks!
